Bright and airy is the first thing that comes to mind when approaching Meraki, which has now also taken over the former Cafe Creme space next door. Usually crowded with groups of students, Meraki is situated opposite the municipal offices in a historic building that used to house scholars from Bloemhof primary school, now the Sasol art museum.
Clean and spacious, with a sunny courtyard at the back and tables outdoor in the front, Meraki has a vitality which is contagious.
