Basic Bistro is a cozy little restaurant situated in busy Church street that is run by larger than life Julian, whose portrait by Porche, a good friend, adorns the indoor wall. Known for their gourmet burgers with 150g Steak mince patties, nutritious salads, tasty curry dishes and gourmet Espresso-based coffees - good value wines and their Mint and Lemon infused Rooibos Iced tea are other trade marks.
A popular haunt of locals, it is wise to book a table during lunch (1 -2 pm) and dinner times (7pm onwards).
